Acerca de Menanto
Music is my passion, and I love teaching the piano. I have studied in South Africa, Namibia, Greece (American system), and the United Kingdom, which is why my teaching method is holistic and not particular to a single school.
Music is a beautiful art, and playing an instrument can improve many areas of your life!
My students have the option of taking theory or practical ABRSM (Royal Schools) examinations if they wish, which is perfect for continuing studies in music at university level. Many of my older students prefer to play for enjoyment, which is also an option for all ages.

I place an emphasis on artistic expression and finding your own sound, regardless of age or experience level.
Basic exercises help you learn how to read and write music, while I ensure you understand the historical context of a musical piece you are playing. I provide creative tools and strategies for learning to play on your own, how to approach a classical piece of music, and how to improvise.
I include piano techniques that ensure you do not get injured and provide you with the freedom needed to play the instrument.
We build a repertoire that allows you to improve your musical expression, and takes you further into playing the piano!
