Acerca de Jordan
Hi, I’m Jordan, an English teacher based in Barcelona with experience teaching adults, teenagers and children at a wide range of levels.
I’ve been teaching English since 2017 and I’m CELTA-qualified. I also work as a Cambridge Speaking Examiner, which has given me a strong understanding of what students need to do to communicate clearly and perform confidently in exam situations.
I have experience teaching General English, Business English, Cambridge exam preparation and IELTS, as well as helping students improve their speaking, grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation.
I’ve studied several languages myself, so I understand how challenging it can be to build confidence and express yourself naturally in another language. I try to create a relaxed but focused atmosphere where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and developing their English at their own pace.
I’m organised, patient and adaptable, and I always try to make sure lessons have a clear purpose while still being enjoyable and relevant to each student.

My lessons are tailored to your level, goals and interests. We can focus on speaking, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, exam preparation or a combination of these areas depending on what you need.
I like to give lessons a clear structure while still keeping them flexible, so we might use a textbook alongside real-life materials such as videos, articles, podcasts and discussion topics.
If you’re preparing for a Cambridge exam or IELTS, we can also work on exam technique, practise specific tasks and look closely at what examiners are looking for.
Most importantly, I want you to feel comfortable speaking English, asking questions and making mistakes. The aim is to help you use English more confidently and naturally, not just complete exercises.
