In my Spanish classes, I mainly apply the Communicative and Task-Based Learning methods, because I believe the best way to learn a language is by using it in real and meaningful situations. From day one, my students practice conversation, problem-solving in everyday contexts, and role plays that help them gain confidence and fluency. Each class includes a variety of dynamic activities: listening and reading comprehension, vocabulary practice, interactive exercises, debates, songs, audiovisual materials, and language games. It’s impossible to get bored, since I adapt every session to each student’s interests and needs. A typical class may include: A short warm-up conversation to activate prior knowledge. A communicative task (such as planning a trip, ordering in a restaurant, or solving a practical situation). A grammar or vocabulary activity integrated into the context. A final reflection on what was learned and a small task to keep practicing. My lessons are suitable for all levels, from beginners to advanced, and I can also focus on specific goals: Spanish for traveling, academic Spanish, exam preparation, or simply conversation to improve fluency. What sets me apart as a teacher is my energy and dynamism: I guarantee that every session is engaging, motivating, and effective. In addition, as an Argentine teacher living in Colombia and also an English teacher, I help my students adapt their accent to the one they prefer in the Spanish-speaking world.
