Acerca de Casper
I am a native English-speaking South African educator currently living in Uruguay. During more than 44 years in education, I have taught and supported learners in South Africa, the United Kingdom, Uruguay, and Iraq. Working across different countries and cultures has taught me to listen carefully, communicate clearly, and treat every learner with patience and respect.
I hold a Bachelor of Education, a Higher Education Diploma, a 150-hour TEFL/TESOL certificate, and a Business English certificate. My experience ranges from teaching children and secondary learners to university-bound students, working professionals, and corporate executives.
I continue teaching because I genuinely enjoy helping people overcome uncertainty and discover what they are capable of achieving. Whether a student wants to communicate more confidently, succeed academically or use English professionally, I bring extensive experience, careful preparation and genuine personal commitment to every lesson.

My lessons are practical, encouraging, and carefully adapted to each learner’s goals, level, and interests. I begin by identifying what the student can already do and where support is needed. We then work towards clear, achievable outcomes through guided conversation, relevant examples, targeted vocabulary, and regular practice.
I help learners improve their speaking, listening, pronunciation, grammar, reading, and writing without interrupting every mistake or damaging their confidence. Important errors are addressed constructively, and each lesson connects with previous learning so that progress is visible.
I am a qualified native English-speaking educator with more than 44 years of teaching experience and a 150-hour TEFL/TESOL certificate. I have taught children, secondary and university-bound students, adult professionals, and corporate executives. My experience includes conversational and academic English, business English, workplace communication, IELTS, SAT, and international examination preparation.
