Acerca de Paula
I am just a girl who's found her place in this world: teaching languages. Not only do I know English, but also Spanish, German and a tiny bit of French.
I would like to share my passion for languages with students for different reasons.
First and foremost, the best contribution to society is through education. Many children in the world suffer and the best way to help them is by destroying barriers of communication. And the key to that is learning languages.
Secondly, because it would be selfish of me not to share my knowledge with people. If you have something, a passion you really like, you should share it with others.

My methodology is very dynamic. When implementing lessons:
> Listening: first, oral questions about what the conversation can be about; second, written questions to test the understanding of the conversation; third, oral questions about the topic. Cambridge exam models, TED Talks and made up questions, radio stations...
> Writing:we practice different kinds of models (essays, reviews, reports, stories, journals...). According to the student's needs.
>Speaking: different games to increase students' participation, Cambridge exam models... At first, they are given some structures and they practice those structures to learn them and then it becomes natural.
> Use of English: games, tips to tackle Cambridge exam parts...
> Grammar / vocabulary: present (games to make students learn grammar on their own, inductive and deductive methods); practice (exercises from the book or pdfs); produce (speaking or written games to practice grammar or vocabulary).
All topics are relevant (environment, social media, work, mental health, gastronomy, society issues...)
