Acerca de Jorge
I started teaching Spanish at the age of 19 as a volunteer teacher, working mainly with recently arrived immigrant students in Spain. During those two academic years, I was also studying for my degree in Spanish Language and Literature at university.
After finishing my degree, I expanded my teaching experience by working in Spanish–English summer camps and Spanish language academies. This variety of teaching environments has been one of my greatest strengths.
Because of that experience, I truly understand how important motivation is for every student — especially for language learners. In my classes, I use a communicative approach, with plenty of games and speaking activities to keep students engaged and talking as much as possible.
